Compounding Medications

Off-the-shelve doesn't fit eveyone for dosage, content, inert ingredients, even flavor. We can compound where necessary to assist you in the best treatment of your patient by tailoring medications to the patient's need.

Dermatological Prescriptions
These are some of the most prescribed chemicals: formaldehyde solutions, salicylic acid preparations, resorcinol, menthol, Borrows solution, Dakins solution, fluorourcil solutions, carafate slurry, captopril solution, alprostadil, papaverine, phentolamine. If there is a product that has been discontinued that you preferred, call us - we may be able to compound it for you.

Pain Medications
Dextromethorphan, hydrocodone are available compounded to dosages and delivery systems not commercially available.

Sterile Solutions
These are all compounded using a laminar flow hood.

Veterinary Products

We can fill prescriptions for you or for your clients for both common medications and compounded formulas.

Many cats, dogs and other small companion animals can live longer, healthier lives with the help of a variety of medications and palliative care. Westbrook is a compounding pharmacy, and can provide the compounded medications you need for your client's pets, including those not found commercially. A variety of drug delivery systems are available, including transdermal.

We can deliver direct to the patient via your faxed, oral or written prescription, and we will work with you to provide medications in the most convenient form or flavor to ensure compliance with therapeutic benefits.
